3 Ways to Treat Dad in Chicago

This Father's Day, which is June 18th, make sure you make it a memorable and exciting day for the coolest guy around. There are plenty of things to do in Chicago, but here are a few activities that are sure to bring a smile to his face.  Canoeing If he's the outdoorsy type, he'll love a guided canoeing adventure on the Chicago Botanic Garden Lakes. It'll also give him a chance to enjoy the weather before that summer heat sets in. Bowling King's Bowl in Lincoln Park is the place to be this Father's Day. Grab a meal next door and then hit the lanes. This is something the entire family will love! Brunch If he's a foodie, then he'll enjoy chowing down on some brunch favorites at Pinstripes. They'll also be serving barbecue treats as well as mimosas all day!

With Memorial Day weekend approaching, it's time you marked your calendars for a special upcoming Chicago event. One of the biggest events in May will be here on the 29th and it's Chicago's Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony. This special event will begin with a Wreath Laying Ceremony at 11:00 am on Daley Plaza. After the commemoration, you can snag a good spot to catch the parade at noon, which will head south on State Street.  We can't think of a better way to join your community in giving tribute to the many heroes who have served our country.
